We have been tracking down the activities surrounding “Google Fiber” ever since the last day of RFI submission and hundreds of US communities and Individuals proactively showed their interest in getting Google Fiber laid down in their native city.

Now, it is pretty much obvious that whichever city gets Google Fiber first, in the end, it is going to be one of the US cities only and that clearly means that it will still remain a wishful thing for other countries to get Google Fiber laid off in their cities as well.

So this time, we looked around and tried to analyze the Google Fiber buzz spread all over the web, to spot the most active and interested countries in Google Fiber, except US. As we’ve already been running the Most Deserving City for Google Fiber Challenge right here so we also looked into our visiting records for people belonging to other countries but still eagerly digging for more info about any chances of Google Fiber in their own city or asking whether Google will be kind enough to build their Fiber network anywhere in their home country.

From what we have found out, here are the Top 8 countries that seem to be excited about Google Fiber and the people appeared to be most enthusiastic for getting a chance to get Google Fiber embrace their country as well.

#1: Canada : Although Canadians are far lesser in head-count compared to other countries, there’s still a lot of buzz about Google Fiber among Canadians. The average internet speed in Canada is still lagging than US and they would love to get Google Fiber, if they ever get a chance !

#2: United Kingdom: Well, when there’s something that US talks about, UK can’t be left behind. Britain’s average internet speeds are better than Canada’s but still, they are among those who desire lightning fast internet access and ready to pay a good price, if required.

#3 Germany: Number 3 on the ‘Google Fiber Buzz’ list is Germany. We don’t know if Germany will ever get Google Fiber in the future but the folks out there are certainly enthusiastic about Google’s FTTH project and would be interested if any company plans to build a large scale ultra speed FTTH network in their country as well.

#4 India : 4th most abuzzed country about Google Fiber is India. India is one such country where ‘geek culture’ is cultivating really fast among the urban cities and even a small “tech-savvy” proportion of enormous Indian population gives good enough reasons for any telecom company (if not Google) to work on establishing Super high speed FTTH networks in Indian metropolitan cities.

#5 France: ‘France’ stands 5th on the list of ‘buzzed up’ countries for Google Fiber.

Italy stands at 6th spot, Mexico stands at 7th and Spain stands at 8th spot among the “Most abuzzed countries” for Google Fiber.
